Who we are
The German-Japanese Society in Augsburg and Swabia eV (DJG) was founded on January 28, 1997 as a non-profit association. Our nearly 100 members include both individuals and companies and institutions.

What we want
Our goal is to promote and deepen mutual understanding between Germans and Japanese. We will focus specifically on the conditions in Augsburg and Swabia.

What we do
Through our activities in the economic, cultural and scientific fields, we want to bring Japan a little closer to our members and all interested parties. We organize lectures, symposia or exhibitions, for example, and provide support in youth exchanges and sponsorships.
